Wednesday June 27, 2018 9 AM – 3 PM
Purpose
The heart behind the Day of Prayer is to collectively remember our dependence as a movement upon God and upon prayer. It serves as both a personal prayer retreat and a corporate time of discernment and intercession.
The first half of the day will provide opportunity for us to individually quiet our outer and inner lives, to tune our ears to His voice. The second half of the day will involve more corporate prayer in small and large groups, as we intercede for the youth of our nation and listen for how He is leading us forward as a movement.
A key part of the DoP is, and has always been, the 40 Days of Prayer & Fasting leading up to the event. It is an invaluable time of preparing and posturing our hearts to hear from Him so that when we come together for the DoP it is a beautiful and powerful culmination of what God has already been speaking and stirring in our hearts.
The 40 days of prayer and fasting will begin on May 18. More information to follow.
Arrival
Day of Prayer attendees arrive at RockRidge after 4:00 pm on Tuesday, June 26. If you are flying, please see the transportation details here. Supper will be provided and the evening is yours to enjoy but, we encourage you to use the time to prepare your mind and heart for the following day.
Cost
Thanks to YFC Canada, the Day of Prayer is available at a rate of only $85/person based on dorm accomodations. (Please note there is added cost if you choose the Lodge (shared or single) for accommodations.) This includes 3 meals (supper on the 26th and breakfast and lunch on the 27th).
Childcare & Families
Please note that childcare and kids programming will not be provided during the Day of Prayer.
